Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Is anyone else having trouble streaming the promo video? I tried to show a couple of friends how skritter works and it just wouldn't load. I've tried again since and still nothing happens. I waited for ages. Anyway just thought i'd put it out there.

Are you in China? There might be a GFW issue. You can compare these two versions of the page:

(Also, it says Japanese is coming on the 15th instead of 30th)
