Thanks for the continuous updating of skritter. It seems the new year has brought a few tweaks.

One comment on the 'adding new words' function: I actually preferred how words were added manually before. When clicking on the green plus button above the canvas, one character was added shortly after (usually one or two characters later). Has anything changed in this regard?

My impression is that new characters are now added much further down the list, also usually more than one.

This is not ideal if you have a bit of back-logg of characters to review. Instead of adding new ones quickly to the cycle I am mostly stuck with reviewing old ones and don't get the new ones I have requested fast enough.

Maybe I have chanced my settings by accident. My list section is set on add new words automatically when using the add word button.

Btw. I like the hide reading alpha. Always tried not to look at the pin yin anyways so having it hidden is a great addition. In my opinion it is just a bit unfortunate if you have already mastered the tone, then system will speak it to you (even though you can't read it), which gives it away in this case. Otherwise a great addition.

It's not that multiple words are being added, it's that each subcomponent of the word (tone, definition, writing) counts as a "review" in the count on the bar.

Looks like there's something broken with the insertion of new definition prompts where the writing or tone prompts get loaded instead of they exist. I will try to fix it this weekend.

It's supposed to load 3 words in advance, but insert new words as soon as they're ready so that you see them sooner. That'll be how it works again once I get it fixed up.
